How We Collect Rates:

We collect rates from public shopping portal websites and feeds using automated crawlers and parsers. Each portal has a registered adapter that extracts rate data according to a source policy.

Verification: We assign confidence scores to each rate based on parser reliability, source stability, and historical consistency. Rates with low confidence are flagged.

Freshness: Each rate has an observed timestamp. We display how recently each rate was checked. Stale rates are labeled.

History: We store rate history for up to one year to calculate quality scores and trends. History is append-only.

Valuation: For points and miles, we apply user-configurable valuations. The default is face value. Users can customize valuations in their account settings.
